Project Description:

The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, in Dublin, is made up of four divisions: Directing Division, Solicitors Division, Prosecution Support Services Division and Administration Division. The scaffold access structures were assembled to facilitate the installation of flexible flue liners in the building’s existing chimney, considering that the structure’s elements can at no stage come into contact with the fabric of the building.

The scaffold structure includes:

• A free-standing façade scaffold of 15m high and 7m long with no contact with the building's fabric

• A stairway tower of 15m

• A roof scaffold with saddle structures integrated in the remaining scaffold structure

• A fitted working tower to envelop the chimney stack

• Lifting beams to carry a hoist.
